The Promise

Film for Compassion Germany

An international children’s aid organization looking for fresh images and a novel approach to get its message across was the starting point for this delightful animated film centered on a valuable “promise”.

Kinetic typography acts as the story’s narrator, while providing a stage for the hand-drawn characters to actually experience what is being narrated.

Scenic illustrations hint at the characters’ living environment and supplement the key message with important details. Music and sound design underscore the dramatic composition in a playful way.
